Lumi the Monkey, Our Mascot

2016 is the Year of the Monkey, so naturally, our mascot is a monkey named Lumi. Lumi is full of fun, carrying a lantern on her tail and ready to play with kids at the festival.

The name Lumi has a number of meanings:

1. It comes from the word “Illuminate,” perfect for a festival filled with illuminations.
2. Her name also means “Love You, Mean It.”
3. Lumi also comes from the Latin term meaning “light of life.”
4. Lumi also “The Best of the Best.”
